overview
A Retail Transformation for a Major Department Store
Bringing a second Marshalls location to Vancouver Island required creating the right space for the successful clothing and home goods retailer. We did so—on time and on budget.
A repeat client that manages dozens of large commercial complexes in Western Canada brought us on to manage the construction of the department store in Langford’s Millstream Village Shopping Centre. Our task was to combine four existing storefronts into one 24,000-square-foot store and to meticulously meet Marshalls’ brand standards, especially when it came to rebuilding the exterior facade.
This project’s scale required seamless communication between our team and the project’s architects, designers, project managers, and subcontractors. We relied on our experience delivering professional, detail-oriented construction to ensure we perfectly met the client’s brand standards. And, since we were building during a global pandemic, we brought our characteristic flexibility and penchant for creative solutions to the fore, allowing us to work safely while meeting our deadlines and budget.
